🌿2026 Youth Theme:
“Walk With Me”

“Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore Walk With Me.” —Moses 6:34

To walk with the Savior Jesus Christ is more than an invitation to believe — it’s a call to rise up! To take up your cross! To join Him in the great gathering of Israel and truly walk beside Him. When we walk with the Savior, His Spirit strengthens us, His power justifies us, and His presence abides in us!

Do you understand Moses 6:34?

These words were spoken to Enoch — a young man just like you who felt inadequate in his calling. The Lord didn’t just command him to act; He promised partnership! “...thou shalt abide in me, and I in you.”
The 2026 theme is about divine companionship — walking with Christ so completely that we truly receive His image in our countenance and His power becomes part of who we are and everything that we do!

What does it mean to walk with the Jesus Christ?

Partnership, not perfectionThe Lord doesn’t wait for you to be perfect before walking with you. He meets you where you are, and gently encourages you to make small steps to follow Him every day.We can have His spirit to be with usWhen we walk with Christ, He changes us! His spirit is with us — not just on Sunday, but through every decision, every moment, and every trial that we face.TransformationMountains of doubt and fear “flee before you” when His Spirit is with you! Walking with Him transforms how we view ourselves and gives us confidence in who we are and where we are going!

⚙️ How to Activate the Theme

🙏 Walk with Him in PrayerBegin and end each day with a short prayer that invites the Savior to walk with you. When you speak to Father in Heaven, speak naturally. Just be yourself! Humbly invite Him into every part of your life and then get up and trust that He will answer!📖 Walk with Him in ScriptureStudy the lives of those who walked with God — Enoch, Noah, Nephi, Alma and Moroni. Really think about how they “walked”. As you study and ponder, commit yourself to follow their examples every day!🕊 Walk with Him in WorthinessRemember that repentance is a blessing, not a punishment! Repent with joy and gratitude every day and then continue making the effort to live so His Spirit can abide with you — that’s what makes walking with Him possible!💬 Walk with Him in CourageWhen the Spirit prompts you to speak, act, or stand up, don’t hesitate...ACT! The same Spirit that empowered Enoch can strengthen you!💪 Walk with Him in ServiceSeek earnestly to help those who are struggling. Each day, look for opportunities to lift someone around you. As you do, you will be walking in Christ’s place beside them!

For Leaders and Parents

How can you help the youth to implement the theme all year long? Here are some suggestions...

📖 Begin each quorum or class with a short “Walk With Me Moment.”A brief scripture, story, or testimony that helps everyone refocus on what it means to follow the Savior.💬 Encourage testimonies or experiences of walking with God.Invite youth to share simple, real moments in their lives when they followed a prompting to act.🏕️ Tie camps, devotionals, and firesides to the theme.Make sure that every major event reinforces what it means to walk with the Savior.🎁 Create visual remindersPutting up posters, creating a “Walk With Me” bookmark, a "Follow Him" note in their lunchbox or a quick text can help remind our youth each day to follow Him!

When the Savior says, “Walk with me,” we can trust that no matter what we face, He will never ask us to face it alone! This year, let’s walk forward in faith, shoulder to shoulder with the Savior of the world!

Stake Youth Musical Fireside | 4:00 PM
OPENING & WELCOME
On Stage:
Matt Tippets
Kate ArmstrongLighting: Warm, centeredKate:
“Hi everyone. Thank you for coming tonight and for making the effort to be here. We know it’s not easy to come out on a Sunday afternoon, and we’re really glad you’re here.”
Matt:
“This fireside is our introduction to the new youth theme for 2026, ‘Walk With Me,’ and it’s about what it looks like to try to live that theme in real, everyday life.”
Matt:
“I’ll be totally honest — for me, the hardest part of the day is just getting up. You’re tired and your alarm goes off too early. You know what the right thing to do is, but another part of you just wants more sleep.”
Kate:
“That’s so true. You’re rolling out of bed, trying to wake up, and already thinking about school, practice, homework, and everything else you have to do that day.”
Matt:
“And with all of that going on, we’re trying to remember that God is there, and that He cares about us personally.”
Kate:
“Even when we start our day learning about Jesus in seminary, we’re still trying to figure out how to feel His presence and recognize His help in the middle of really busy days.”
Matt:
“One of the ways a lot of us try to do that is through music.”
“Music has a way of staying with you — in your car, in your headphones, in moments when you need something to bring you peace.”
Kate:
“And the youth music the Church has put out over the years — including the new music tied to this theme — is such a great way to invite the Spirit into every part of your day.”
Matt:
“Tonight is about a normal day — the good parts, the hard parts — and how the choices we make really can invite the Savior to walk with us through all of it.”
Kate:
“It’s about facing everyday challenges, remembering that we never walk alone when we walk with Him.”
(Matt and Kate exit.)

“I am so exhausted.”
(She sits up slowly, pouting slightly)
Mom (offstage, louder):
“Are you up?”
Lily:
“Yes. I’m up!”
(She exhales, then turns to the audience.)
Lily — Monologue (to audience)
“Getting up for early morning seminary is honestly so hard.”
“I like church. I like the scriptures. I even like my seminary teacher.”
“But when your alarm goes off that early, all I can think about is how good my bed feels and how I just want to sleep.”
“It’s really is so hard to want to get up.”
“Honestly, sometimes I wish I could just sleep a little longer and skip it.”
“But I’ve noticed that when I don’t make it to seminary, something feels off.”
“And when I do go and spend a little time thinking about the Savior, I feel so much better.”
“So I get up. Not because it’s easy, but because I know it’s the right thing to do.”
(She walks to desk, opens laptop. Soft screen glow.)
Lily (quietly):
“Hey guys!”
(Waving at the computer screen)

(She locks her phone.)
Cannon:
“Are you going to say something?”
Anna Cate:
“I don’t know. I don’t want to make it worse.”
Cannon:
“Yeah… but I also don’t want to be part of it.”
(He pockets his phone.)
Anna Cate:
“Same.”
(They walk a few steps.)Cannon:
“Everyone’s going to think we’re being weird.”
Anna Cate:
“Maybe. But I’d rather that than be part of tearing someone down.”
Cannon:
“Okay. Yeah. Me too.”
TURN TO AUDIENCE — REFLECTIONAnna Cate:
“Stuff like this happens all the time at school.”
“It’s usually not some huge, dramatic choice.”
“It’s small moments where you have to decide what kind of person you’re going to be.”
Cannon:
“And most of the time, nobody’s forcing you to do the wrong thing.”
“It’s just easier to go along with everyone else.”
Anna Cate:
“But when you don’t… when you step back instead of joining in…”
“It actually feels better.”
Cannon:
“Not always in the moment.”
“Sometimes it’s awkward.”
“Sometimes people notice.”
Anna Cate:
“But you don’t walk away feeling gross about it later.”
Cannon:
“And when you think about what Jesus would actually do…”
“It’s usually not complicated.”
Anna Cate:
“It’s just choosing kindness.”
“Choosing to not make things worse.”
“Choosing to do what feels right.”
Cannon(closing):
“And those small choices matter more than we think.”

TURN TO AUDIENCE — REFLECTIONAnnika:
“This kind of thing happens all the time.”
“Not because people want to cheat…”
“But because they feel overwhelmed.”

“And when I think about who I’m trying to become…”
“That choice matters more than a grade.”

“Tonight we just walked through a normal day. Nothing dramatic. Just real life.”
“Jesus Christ doesn’t promise us an easy day.”
“But He does promise that we don’t have to walk through it alone.”
“I know the Savior is real. I know He’s aware of us.”
“And I know that when we try to include Him in our everyday lives, He steadies us.”
Chloe:
“And most discipleship decisions aren’t huge.”
“They’re the small ones — when we’re tired, stressed, or under pressure.”
“And sometimes one of the simplest ways we let the Savior be part of our day is through the music we choose to listen to.”
“The youth music we’ve heard tonight — and the new music tied to this theme — is meant to be something we can carry with us, not just something we hear at a fireside.”
Josh:
“As we move into this new youth theme, ‘Walk With Me,’ don’t think you have to do everything perfectly.”
Chloe:
“Just choose Him in small ways, consistently.”
